dWebSpec provides a powerful means of capturing the specification of dynamic web applications. It combines annotations in HTML or xHTML pages that capture the User Interface design, with a set of descriptors that capture the dynamic activities.

dWebSpec Dictionaries

dWebSpec templates provide means of capturing web applications specifications or models. These could then be transformed into implementation code. What is needed are dictionaries that provide equivalence between dWebSpec Platform Independent Models (PIM) to the Platform Specific Models (PSM) for target platforms. Structured Web Technologies provides the dictionaries for major implementation platforms.

Development Tools

We shall soon announce tools that facilitate and integrate the development steps, starting with specification and modeling up to the translations or implementations stages. These tools will also integrate with major Integrated Development Environments (IDE), as well as providing export/import capabilities of the models to various formats.
